Hello All,
My wife and I are now owners of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee North edition.
We did purchase it used thru a Chrysler dealership.
We also own a 2013 Dodge Dart 1.4 multiair turbo with a 6 speed stick.
I'm just finishing up a restoration on a 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner tribute car.

First off - we've had the Jeep since June & my first impression is...it's great.
The 9 speed transmission is neat - when I drive it I do shift it manually.
I am impressed by the mileage it gets. Up here in southern Ontario Canada it gets an average of 8.5L per 100kms.
That's 27.6 miles per gallon.
I am surprised by the engine as its only 3.2 litres.
We just sold a 2002 Caravan that had a 3.3 litre engine and the best I could get out of that was 10L per 100kms or 23.5 miles per gallon.
Here she is....

Hi there and welcome !

Yes, if you don't have a lead foot, this 3.2L can deliver decent mileage. My 3.2L North sees more city driving, so my numbers are lower on average. But I've seen below 8L/100 Km on some highway runs, when I keep the speed below 110 Km/h and don't face a head wind.

You gotta show pics of the Roadrunner ;)

Mark, the engine will be a small block.
With the price of fuel these days, I want to cruze in this thing.
Near the last pages on my project I do show the engine going to the dyno.
The engine is a 0.030" over 360 with 340 'J' heads that are shaved to 60cc combustion chambers.
I converted the car to a 4 speed manual transmission.
Out back I do have 2 rear gear ratios - but right now the gears in it are 3:23's.

BTW flybynightcru I was into Fords before I went to the dark side.....LOL
Fairlane was one of my favourite models.

I always tell people that my Fairlane is the only thing I own that not for sale for any price, but I would definitely consider a trade for a 70 Hemi Cuda, but it would probably have to be a convertible, but maybe not...LOL!!!馃槈馃槑
