Wow! I went to Jeep on Facebook because I wanted to try to find some codes for the Cherokee Effect game. It was truly disappointing the overwhelming negative comments about the Cherokee. Many were downright hateful. Certainly as 3 time Jeep owner with the latest being my 2014 Trailhawk I have never before seen such meanness from fellow Jeepers. This was not the friendly culture I had experienced in the past. Despite that I love my new Jeep and I love this forum! No more Facebook Jeep surfing for me! I will stay here where the folks really do understand the Jeep thing.

I see there's a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk group but they show a Grand Cherokee as their image. Maybe that's why they only have 60 likes?

There is a 2013 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. This is probably what the group is for.

Most likely, but with a misnomer. Someone (other than I, that is) should start a group for the actual Cherokee TH.
I read some of it on facebook just come here now learn more here. And people here love their Jeeps.

Bingo. Every time I see someone say "I would never buy that piece of....!"

I think, "Sure! As if!" ?

Facebook is a total waste of my time. I'm only still on it to stay in touch with a few friends. Jeep haters on there are ridiculous. If they don't like the Cherokee fine. I don't care what other people think. I love mine and that's all that matters.

Jeep really got screwed by the release of the pre/early production spy shot. If the world's first few was of, say, a granite crystal Trailhawk, the reception would've been far better. As it is, some folks made up their minds early, and have just refused to take off the blinders ever since.

And I can't stand it when people hate on Jeep for bestowing the name 'Cherokee' on the KL. Yes, the old Cherokee was great. In the ways that matter most, however, the new one is far, far greater. If you want the off-road prowess of the old Cherokee, Jeep has a Wrangler Unlimited for you. And keep in mind, for serious off-road capability, the old Cherokee was lovingly embraced by aftermarket suppliers. Out of the box, I'll bet the Trailhawk could hang pretty well. And on road, where the KL will spend most of its time-- absolutely no comparison in any way, shape or form.

I'll take my '14 Cherokee over my old '94 Cherokee hands down! Much nicer and modern by far.

As far as the haters, if they don't like it...don't buy it, it's simple as that!!! Plus, people out there must like the new ones...the sales are outstanding!

When I took my KL in to get fixed, the service tech told me he didn't like them at all until he saw mine. The true blue won him over.

x100!! I had a 4dr xj a while back and it lasted for a few months. Horrendous rear seats, atrocious gas mileage and too many cons than pros. Comfort and convenience > 10% offroad capabilities that were used. Same goes for my previous wrangler.
There are many negative comments, but not all of them are. And if you look at the number of "Likes" there are thousands. So, don't let a few idiots ruin it for you. Maybe they're upset they can't afford one, or afraid that life will pass them by if they don't keep up. Or who knows.... I speculate. ;)

I was one that disliked the KL when it first appeared. A quick oil change at the dealer, and saw one first hand made me realize that pictures do not do any justice in person.

Facebook tends to have it's share of bullies, and complainers. Unfortunately they can not be unfriended to get them off the page. I do not have time for that!
The 2014 Cherokee is #4 in the line of Jeeps I have owned.
They have all been great.
But the 2014 Cherokee in my opinion is one fantastic machine. Issues with the Transmission, yes. But that is just part of the new technology in this Jeep.
The Transmission will sort itself out.
The available Tech group is in a class by itself. It is unbelievable in what it does.
And the availability as a stand alone option actually makes it affordable.
Love the new look of the Cherokee! I owned the 2001 Cherokee sport off road version and loved that jeep also, it was the classic. But I would not trade this new one, as I do think it leaves the competition in the dust.

the GC Trailhawk was nice.. almost got one. But it was only limited to one year then discontinued due to lack of interest... and people didn't want to pay 10k for wheels and stickers!
'43 Willys > '82 CJ7 > '84 CJ7 > '96 XJ > 05' Rubicon > Trailhawk.

My 'Jeep Cred'. Been driving Jeeps for 30 years.

I love the Trailhawk. It's comfortable. It's quiet. It's capable.

It's a Jeep.

Enough said.

The GC Trailhawk was more than wheels and stickers. It included the air suspension and most advanced 4WD system. They were essentially highly equipped Laredo's with the added TH visuals.

Exactly......I reserved my judgement until I saw it in person, and on the media videos, one they realeased the vid, TFLcar.com etc, I started to like it even more.....I was sold at the dealership!

Btw, for Facebook.......I am so glad I don't use it! It gives me more time to be on here!! ;)
