Great stuff in this thread. I took delivery of my Ltd last week so I've been looking into this a bit more. I looked at the Ziegler website and called Bob Cline whose name was mentioned in the thread. Had a good talk with Bob--no pressure, answered all of my questions, very knowledgeable. The thing that stood out in the conversation is that it isn't that expensive, at least right now, to wait to buy an extended warranty until you've driven the vehicle for a few years. He explained that under current pricing, if you buy a lifetime warranty after passing one year/12K miles, your cost is $170 higher (he might have said $150, not certain) than buying it in the first year. And, the same price differential applies right through four years/48K miles. They would still sell you a lifetime warranty for the same price differential relative to a first year purchase.

Obviously, prices and pricing structures can change over time--in fact, Bob said they usually get a price increase from Chrysler every two years--but I thought it was interesting that the price of buying later isn't much more than buying right out of the gate.

I told Bob I got his name and number from this thread and he says he's gotten a lot of calls that way!

Seems there are two threads going here about extended warranties. Just posted the following on the other thread:

This was a deal Clay was doing in December, $1885 -

"Anyone can PM me in the month of December and I will sell any Mopar Vehicle Protection at cost. For a vehicle within one year and 12,000 miles, cost is $1885 no tax for the Lifetime $100 deductible. PM me for other terms and mileage if you don't plan on keeping it past 7 years. You can also email me at [email protected]. The number at the dealership is 800.283-8650"

Not sure what he can do now but I seem to remember another posting from him in January stating to watch for a special deal in March, so it may be worth a call or e-mail. When I pm'ed him via the forum in December (it was on a Wrangler forum) he called me in less than 30 minutes. He's a good guy too)

I was doing some research on the Chrysler Max+ extended warranty after it was offered to us by the dealership. Found Zeigler Automotive Group out of SW Michigan, and NE Illinois markets them nationwide via website. Don’t need to purchase your vehicle through them to do it.

They were approx. 66% less than my dealerships initial quote (for new or CPO’d pre-owned). The dealerships bottom line “our cost” price was still $600 higher than what I got through Zeigler.

If you are buying a non-CPO pre-owned they were still a good 25% off (as I inquired on some prices). This is the price that shows online for a quote. If you are buying new or CPO pre-owned, you need to call for that price.

I got ours through them on a 2020 CPO Trailhawk we just purchased. We saved 66% and got it at what I consider an incredible price for a 7 year, 100k mile, $100 deductible bumper to bumper factory extended warranty.

Including their link below for others that are interested.

FYI: I am NOT in any way affiliated with them, Chrysler, or any other aspect of this option. I was just so impressed with price I am sharing for others.
