Yes, I had the middle rear one get stuck when I tried to remove it so that I could install the covers. I ended up having to cut the head off of the bolt with a dremel.

That's the same one I had get stuck. I ended up having to take the entire slider off again and just pull that one out attached to the slider still. Luckily it wasn't compressed at all. The brass insert in it is all chewed up. Now I'm short 2 wellnuts for the passenger side, one also came unusable in the package.

A word from the now wiser...
There's a small lip at the bottom of the front fender flares that touch or almost touch the rock rail. During install I thought it was going to be fine to leave them unscathed. I noticed today that my passenger side flare was pulling away from the sheet-metal and discovered that lip was touching on that side and... now I'll have to replace the tape for the fender flare.

Also... I bet it is much much much easier to remove that lip before installing the sliders. Blowing through Dremel cutting discs for partial cuts, finishing with a hack-saw, attempting to file down the edges and repainting the now scarred portions of the slider without painting the car too are not the recommended method.

Having read this after installing one rail, I found that a power multi tool does a great job of cutting that piece out after the rail is installed.

Who has my right slider?

Finally had a chance to get my sliders installed yesterday, (never took them out of the wrap), shop calls me up and tells me there is a problem. Rocky road shipped me two driver side sliders instead of one for each side so the notches and tabs wont allow installation on the passenger side. That means that someone here probably received two right side sliders. They will now have to build me a new one which will take another 2-3 weeks. So until then, im driving around with one side done and the trim gone on the other side. RR was friendly enough, but didnt offer anything else, so I told them to give me a discount for when im ready to order the bumper guard which they agreed to. But in the meantime, if anyone received two rights and would like to trade and are anywhere near Michigan let me know.

And with my luck, I have the two passenger side sliders. I will unwrap and check tonight, they've been in the box for the last two weeks and I haven't had time to install them yet.

And I unpacked mine last night and appear to have a matching set. Sorry Zormac, I don't have your passenger side rail.

You guys got any tricks on how to drill into this pinch seam?

Constant pressure when drilling. The drill bits dull quickly, think I got about 2-3 holes before putting in a new bit.

I used a set of cobalt bits and drilled a size smaller than final size to save wear on correct sized bit.

What did you guys do about the holes not lining up right on the back? I tried jacking up the front where it's not lined up but it's not working that great

Like all the other past group buys, it takes a member to reach out to a vendor to see they'll be interested in a group buy. In RRO's case, they just did one earlier this year and got something like 40+ orders. I don't know when they'll do another....it might be in a couple years.

I can organize another group buy but not for rails. It’ll be for the winch systems unless popular opinion is winch systems. But yes, we did a group buy maybe 6 months ago and they generally only do one a year or so.

I’m sure many will. But it heavily depends on takers. Last attempt at bumper setup fell through at only 7 orders.

Don't think I'll wait two years:frown:
I'll probably cough up the full amount sometime in the new year then

I feel your pain. I want rails too and was waffling between RRO and Mopar and just when I thought I would pull the trigger I went on vacation and forgot. When I got back....all done. Oh well.

If this is something the community wants, I’ll talk to Matt and see if he’s interested. But the community will have to decide between a product. They won’t do sliders and winch system (least I don’t think they will). It’s usually one or the other. Come Monday I’ll call Matt and see if it’s something RRO might be interested in doing. But I will prolly have to wait until next year is what I expect.
