Got the call today, will be picking mine up at Rocky Road on Friday.
Hopefully be installed for Saturday's run to the national forest. Not that they are likely to be needed there.

Anyone who paid via PayPal get any info yet? I still haven't received anything. And did you get your 10% off when you got transferred to PayPal? Looking back im not sure, know for sure 100% it was in on the site, but not sure if it transferred over to PayPal.

Did you get the answer you needed? I don't recall the "transferred to PayPal" part, but I recall 10% was off during the initial transaction. The same day the sliders shipped, I got a PayPal email stating the other 10% (for me, $55) was being refunded.

I called and they moved it to the general manager. Still haven't got a refund. Never got an email or anything but the sliders got here a few days ago.

Picked up sliders today.
And they are installed. Took right at 3.5 hours.
A little hard on drill bits, but it went ok. I didn't lift it off the ground though. That may have been easier.
RRO's suggestion to get one side up on ramps was awesome. Gave you room to sit comfortably and work without straining or lying at weird angles.

As long as the ramps don't move while you're putting the car up

Cover plates came in last night with no heads up on shipping. Glad to have everything I ordered. I think I may pull the rails off this weekend and raptor line everything now that the whole set is in.

My cover plates don't line up at all. I cannot figure out how to put them on. I think they messed them up.

How about some pictures so we can be sure we're talking about the same thing you're seeing.

But if I recall what I read correctly (I don't have the plates myself), there are two cover plates per side, a front and back one. So you need to take out the bolts that attach your rails to your KL., doing a front or a back first. I'm guessing doing both at once will drop the rail:wink: But take out the bolts that match the holes in the appropriate part you're going to install. Then all you do is to place that cover place on top of the rails, and then bolt thru the cover plate and back into the original holes (assuming the cover plates have holes already pre-drilled).

Does that make sense?

Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong on how this install works.

You only have to remove the bolts that go into the well nuts. The bolts in the pinch seam do not need to be removed so I don't think you need to worry about the rail dropping. I did only remove 3 bolts at a time to do the front and then the rear cover plate. There is a tab on the cover plates that should be oriented to go underneath the fenders. No drilling or trimming is required.

I will post pics later. I took some with my phone and I cannot have my phone at work. The short one, lined up fine with the back. The long one, doesn't match up with the holes on the front, it is like my fender flare is in the way of it lining up correctly. Like I said, I will post pics, I installed them this weekend, then went on a business trip.

One of my rails was way off. Took me almost 4 hours just to install one. The front and back holes on the pinch seam, are below the seam. Plus when I tighten down the bolts on the pinch seam, it pulls down the hole thing and puts pressure of the bolts on the top. The other side, went on in about two hours with no major issues.

Thanks for that clarification. That's exactly what I meant, not the ones in the pinch seam bolts

Installed mine today. All was well except for the driver-side front. It didn't quite sit flush with the rear bracket, but mainly up front there is a few millimeters of space between the bottom of the bracket and the top of the rail. I'm guessing that's going to be a great place for the mud and snow to pack into.

A word from the now wiser...
There's a small lip at the bottom of the front fender flares that touch or almost touch the rock rail. During install I thought it was going to be fine to leave them unscathed. I noticed today that my passenger side flare was pulling away from the sheet-metal and discovered that lip was touching on that side and... now I'll have to replace the tape for the fender flare.

Also... I bet it is much much much easier to remove that lip before installing the sliders. Blowing through Dremel cutting discs for partial cuts, finishing with a hack-saw, attempting to file down the edges and repainting the now scarred portions of the slider without painting the car too are not the recommended method.

Anyone else have a wellnut bind on the bolt so you can't put it in or take it out?

Yes, I had the middle rear one get stuck when I tried to remove it so that I could install the covers. I ended up having to cut the head off of the bolt with a dremel.
