New here and have searched a bit already and found some helpful posts, but hoping for some opinions:
2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.0T, had the SVC 4WD light start to come on intermittently in the last 2 weeks, no noises though. It seems to be the same issue as most people here - mechanic says the PTU needs to be replaced. Problem is, it’s on back order 6 months and my local Jeep dealer can’t schedule an appt for 2 months due to “staffing.”
Can I drive the vehicle as is until I can get it into the dealer? I have a few shorter road trips planned and generally live in a rural area where driving is a must.
