The passive lock button on my 2016 KL TH stopped working and the dealership told me I had to order a new handle. The dealer also told me it was about an hour labor to put it on.
I've seen some videos about replacing door handles and I'm not incompetent in doing repairs. I figured even if it took me a couple of hours I'd save the dealer garage fees.
Does anyone have any specific advice/videos/instructions on removing the door handle.
The videos on youtube show rear passenger doors for a couple of Cherokees, but a lot of them tend to be the rear door handle or other versions of Jeeps.
Thanks in advance.

After watching a video of someone doing it on a Renegade - it ended up being very simple.
Remove the plastic plug on the inside door latch area. Insert a T25 torx bit and loosen (CCW) the screw until it bottoms out. Lift the door handle slightly and wiggle the plastic cover that protects the lock cylinder to remove it from the door.
After that, lightly lift door handle again and slide door handle slightly towards the rear. It will disengage and you can pull the handle out - lock side first. If you have passive entry like I do, there is a quick connect that you disconnect from the handle.
Process is the reverse to put it back together.
Whole job took me 15 minutes - can't believe the dealer wanted an hour labor - guess that's where the money is - round up a 15 minute job to the full hour for the shop rate.
