Very good, thanks for posting those links.

Question: When I learned to drive for stopping at a red light in winter I was taught to shift into neutral, on the fly, to aid in stopping. Braking while in Drive means the brake is fighting the drive. Putting it into Neutral eliminates all drive forward motion so braking is more effective. Can I still do this? It's become a bit of a habit.
Don't see why not.
Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for sharing!
thanks for sharing. I think someone else posted one of these videos before but I dont think I've seen the whole set. or it got removed from the Jeep site.

These videos are actually private/unlisted interestingly enough

They used to be on the front page of the Cherokee section of the jeep.com website.

You can, and I used to do the same thing, but I've found the 9 speed downshifts very smoothly to help aid with braking automatically.

Only when it is in 4 low have I wanted more brake power, but that's what you get from a 48:1 crawl ratio. :D
