Just bought my new cherokee limited 2 days ago. and I cant stop driving it around town. I love it!
but I was wondering if the control panel behind the steering wheel really has a delay shut off (lights keep on for about 15 sec then turns off) when you turn off the engine and lock the doors.

Yes it does stay on for a while after shutting the door.

Its a security thing so you have lighting when you leave but you can change that setting in the uconnect settings

I had to use an old laptop with Windows 7. The download utility simply would not work with my Windows 8.1 configuration regardless of whether I used IE or Firefox.
