since #2 is up to 102k miles, does anybody think I should use this instead of that?
Honestly, I don't know what would be any different. I think the whole "High Mileage" moniker is just a marketing thing in most cases. I bet there's also a slight price difference as well...🤔😁😉

With direct injection it's still a good idea, but that's literally the only additive I would ever use in any engine. I run probably 3-4 bottles a year through the Trailhawk...😉😁

Chevron Techron Info
That's exactly why I've been using it for decades in everything from my modern engine vehicles, to my old pre/non emission engine vehicles, to my powersport vehicles, along with only top tier fuel brands (mostly Chevron). It's literally an extra shot of the very detergent additive package in Chevron's top tier fuels. It's good stuff...😁😉

Guys, try using star tron enzyme fuel treatment on every gas tank (I add it after I have filled up, not before). It’s a game changer. It doesnt compete with the chevron product, but can coexist and enhance the end effect. It’s really noticeable if you have forced induction or a more powerful gasoline engine. Regardless, the miles until empty per tank increases and is especially good when it’s hot outside, this star tron stuff essentially prevents vapor lock or another words it reduces the effects of when it’s hot and your gas tank just seems to run to empty sooner than usual.

if any of you try it, let me know if you guys got good results. I get decent results in my 3.2l trailhawk, but I get epic results in a previous 2.0L turbo 4cylinder Mercedes and a 3.0L turbo 6cylinder Mercedes. Game changer I’m telling you, and no I don’t get paid or am affiliated or anything. Just spending my time to share the few gems I’ve found that legitimately work and work very very well. I repeat, it doesn’t compete or replace chevron complete fuel system cleaner. But it makes your car more powerful, smoother idle, better mpg, better gas tank range, better resilience to the elements and temperature extremes. Cheers.

I use STP products almost exclusively. A couple times a year before a long road trip I put a bottle in the tank. I use the regular injector cleaner in my Cherokee and high mileage stuff in my wife’s Wrangler with 160k miles.
