Go to Jeep.com and see what’s available for the build you want, they have been changing available items and engines probably due to the Covid crap going on.
And see what the dealer can order too.

What’s the performance difference between the 2.0 and the 3.2. I noticed that the 2.0 makes lots more torque than the V6 which I imagine is better for daily commuting through snow and light off roading right?

2.0L Turbo no longer available in the TrailHawk in the US. Shame, I have a 2019 with the 2.0L and love it!

2022's still aren't on the Jeep.com web, but I doubt the 2.0L Turbo will be available in the TrailHawk trim. Might ask your dealer way they know.

The only 2022s on the site so far are the refreshed Compass, and the Wagoneer line. All others are '21s.

As @AZJeeper said, no 2.0T for Trailhawks, and it's a damn shame, and frankly not a very smart business decision as far as I'm concerned. It's a great little engine, and we're still waiting for that first major issue, or any issue. I wouldn't own one of the other two engine choices available, so I won't be trading mine in anytime soon...😎

Unfortunately you can no longer get the 2.0T in the TH, but you can certainly try to find a used one. I love the 2.0T in my Cherokee, plenty of pep in its step. Especially through mountain passes, you will have no issues whatsoever going through snow or light off roading. I just have an Active Drive I model and no issues whatsoever with light off roading. On the flip side if you were to find a 2.0T TrailHawk it offers a higher crawl ratio when compared to a 3.2L equipped TrailHawk.

The difference in crawl ratio is

51:1 for the 2.0 vs 48:1

Really not much of a conversation piece or an advantage.

The 2.4 TH's had a 56:1 crawl ratio and no one ever complained about the lack of torque offroad with those engines, with the crawl ratio that high a difference of 3:1 is imperceptible for offroad capability. Also the 3.2 V6 makes more torque at a lower RPM than the 2.0 Turbo does anyways

Why don't you try one Tyler, you might like it, and you'd have an all new performance project to work with...😎

@SomeUserName if your mom is going to be doing only mild off road maybe look at another trim with either AD1 or AD2 and the 2.0. 2.0 is a much more reliable engine so far than the 3.2. read up on the common Pentastar 3.2 and 3.6 issues and you will see a trend of issues as they age. And a AD2 Cherokee with upgraded tires is almost as capable as a trailhawk minus the rear locker. Add skid plates to the AD2 and your set.

So you claim the 2.0 is more reliable because its been around for 3 years vs 10 years of the pentastar???? All engines have issues but the pentastar is not plagued with a bunch of issues like you make it out to be.

As for ADII vs a trailhawk, you will rip the front bumper off in no time flat, the horrid approach angle really limits it offroad. I had both its very noticeable

The 3.2 nor 3.6 are problem ridden. My 3.2 2019 is already over 35k miles, moms 2014 3.6 has over 100k miles on it, not a single issue.

For those of us who tow trailers you should be aware that the 2.0T is not available with the towing package. For me that's a deal breaker. Adding a U-Haul hitch and wiring harness ain't an option for me. I want the transmission cooler and integrated hitch.

Well, it's a good thing mine is a 2019 with the 2.0T, and the factory tow package, and it just happens to be a Trailhawk Elite, which hasn't been available with the 2.0T since 2020. Makes mine a highly sought after classic KL...LOL!!!😎

What makes you think that?? Every tirm offered by Jeep from 2019 (1st year of 2.0L Turbo) through 2022 offers the towing package with the 2.0L.

Towing capacity is reduced in the 2.0L Turbo to 4,000 lbs (US model) as opposed to 4,500 lbs, but it still comes completely prepped to tow.

Also, you can get the ADII version of ANY model without the towing package, upgrade it with the factory hitch and dealer reflash and have the full towing capacity officially added to your specs. Several on this forum had it done.

I was told this by my dealer. If this is wrong I apologize.

No problem! Many stories about the dealer giving incorrect information. It might be the dealer can't (or won't) order one right now, but that's a lot different than not being available.

Sometimes dealers can arrange a transfer from another dealer to get the exact car you want. I see several 2021 models with the 2.0L and towing package for sale online. Don't know if dealers are taking 2022 orders yet, but there are several 2022 2.0L and 3.2L models for sale online now too.

You're not going to find a new Trailhawk with a 2.0T though...😎
