C&D did a comprehensive review and on the Overland ADII V6. They liked the interior, exterior, performance, driveability, and absolutely loved the infotainment, but were pretty mellow on things like fuel economy and cargo space. Not exactly a ringing endorsement but an interesting and very technically detailed review nonetheless.

Those of you who want to know the stopping distance of the car or the visibility obstruction in ft and degrees, and compare it to the competition, this one is for you!:grin:

When I was a kid, all through school I read Motor Trend. I soon lost interest in their writing and COTY Award for every conceivable body style. I graduated to Car and Driver and left MT in my dust. I bought in to Automobile until David E Davis jumped ship, bit still continued with C&D until about 2 or 3 years ago. Every issue was devoted to BMW and I have never bought in to this yuppiemobile! So, I canceled my subscription and no longer read any of these rags! Since the article was online, any idiot behind a screen can add their 2 cents: i.e., the moronic reply about the ZF not working by design. He must be a rocket scientist!

I have never owned a vehicle that these rags have endorsed and have never experienced buyers remorse with any vehicle that I have owned.

Does anyone know what happened to Car & Driver in depth reviews? I remember looking at those in the past when trying to decide on which car to get and I liked how detailed these reviews were. But they seem to have disappeared?
