I'm in SL valley. 2015 Trailhawk currently on its way from the factory...
I've moved to Box Elder County now, since last July. Had the Cherokee for 3.25 years now. Still loving it like crazy. Still one of the best vehicles I've ever owned.

@edge600 I'm in Perry. Wife is originally from Brigham City. Moved back "home" for her, and to be closer to more family that live in North Ogden.

Awesome! Next summer we should make a run up Left hand fork.
Sounds fun! I am also wanting to travel along the old Transcontinental Railway route, west from Golden Spike National Monument over to the Nevada border. Very flat, but lots of history associated with it.

Been there. The Spiral Jetty is out that way. You should also check out the old navigation arrows for CAM route #5 (SLC to Pasco, WA) while you are out there.

There were five Contract Air Mail (CAM)
routes in and out of SLC in the late 20's and early 30's. CAM-5 was awarded to Varney Air Lines. Varney was founded in 1926 by Walter T.
Varney. CAM-5 air service was inaugurated with both north and south flights on
April 6, 1926 between Elko Nevada and Pasco Washington with an interim stop in
Boise Idaho. In order to provide a safer route during the winter, Salt Lake City was substituted for Elko beginning on October 1, 1926. Postal mail covers carried on the
inaugural flight between each point of landing and take-off are collectible and are
known as CAM-5 covers.
Varney Air Lines used New Swallow bi-planes with Curtiss engines for this initial
April 6, 1926 air service. The New Swallow bi-planes were built by the Swallow
Company which survived the dissolution of the E M Laird Aviation Company
(partnership of Laird, Burke and Moellendick).

We went out to the Silver Island Mountains near Wendover today. The main road is pretty easy. You have to go slow because of all the wash out ruts. We didn't explore as many of the side Jeep trails as we would have liked but it was very scenic.

Probably going to try and do one more drive this next weekend. Maybe Hardware Ranch Road or Peter Sinks Trail.





That looks amazing, do you have to have a TH to do the trail? I have a Lattitude, with ADII so no rock mode :(

Go check out the Pacific NW forums for the WABDR threads. We just finished up sections 3 with serious washouts, and 5 with some serious rough roads and the "Ruby Grade". While there was 3 or 4 Trailhawks depending on the day, we had a Limited with AD2 along (Yea Matthew)...who completed these without a single complaint on all-season tires and 18" rims. I was very frankly impressed with the way this Cherokee crawled and Matthew was a rookie at off-road to boot and no major issues.
