tried to hike at Little River State Park, Waterbury, VT. the road up was deep rutted ice & mud & Wifey was yelling at me cuz she didn't want to get stuck or slide into a ditch (well I didn't either). this photo shows going down hill. going up was a bit freaky but the KL never flinched using snow mode & snow tires. got within .6 miles of the official parking area so could only hike the top of the reservoir dam

guess it's time to take the snow tires off ... :(

Cool picture, thanks for sharing...

Now that February is coming to an end, this month has been the warmest February on record. We are more than 2-feet below normal on snowfall (probably closer to 3-ft), so winter has come to an end here as well. Tomorrow it's supposed to be over 60° with a chance of rain and thunderstorms.

This has been one crazy winter around here...

Don't take your snow tires off yet, because the day you do, I can see a "Nor'easter" in your future!!!

Wife and I went to hike a preserve nearby and wore our ice grippers because it can be a bear...ended up walking through slush most of the way. Didn't think it had gotten quite that warm. We are expecting 50 and rain tomorrow...
