Greetings. Recently purchased a 2019 Trailhawk Elite and added the 2in MFC lift and 265/70 17 Cooper Rugged Trek tires. Looking at doing some off-road events and they require a battery hold down. Does the factory one that clamps to the bottom of the battery suffice? Or do these places require an over-the-top type bracket in addition?
Thanks!

Welcome from Utah!!! As long as it's tight, the battery is not going anywhere...馃槑

In every event I've been to, whether 4WD or at a track racing, the factory bracket is more than sufficient. The rule is there so they can reject people who show up with the battery just held in place with a bungee cord or some of string or botch jobs like that.

How much cutting, trimming, and grinding did you have to do to fit those 265/70's???馃槑
