I am averaging 22.4 mpg.
Assuming because of your name you have a Trailhawk?I am averaging 22.4 mpg.
Good suggestion, thanks.Would be helpful when you post a response to note whether you've got the 4 or 6 cylinder engines plus whether you're front wheel drive or not.
How aggressive are you with your right foot? I noticed that I have to take it easy to get good gas mileage much more so than with my previous vehicle (VW Touareg Diesel).Trailhawk 3.2l averaging 18.2 mpg. 550miles and on my 3rd fill up not digging the mileage so far.
Commute is a mix 50/50 -60/40ish and I highly doubt its my driving, I do know how to drive normally when i want. I got better mileage in my 04WJ. Besides I pretty much babied it for the first 250 miles. My thoughts are it has more to do with a bad trans cal, always seems to be either in to low or too high of a gear, hardly ever wants to just cruise below 2k rpm -usually more in the 2.2-2.5 range if it does go up in gears its too high and my speed slows down with out me giving it progressively more gas. Ive already spoken to the dealer about it and they want me to give it a few more miles to break it in before i leave it with them since the trans fix has already been applied. How aggressive are you with your right foot? Is your commute mostly city stop and go traffic? That would certainly explain your gas mileage.
Hopefully you and your dealer get this sorted out. I know I would be upset if my gas mileage was that low - so I understand where you are coming from.Commute is a mix 50/50 -60/40ish and I highly doubt its my driving, I do know how to drive normally when i want. I read somewhere that the Cherokee goes VERY rarely in 9th gear, not sure if true or not.Just took a 600ish km road trip. Due to problems mentioned in my other post, had to limit the trans to 7th gear and nothing higher. Even with a decent head wind going against the wind 11.0l/100kms on the way home with the wind at our back 8.6l/100kms
Pretty impressive only getting to 7th gear for cruising around.
Quel modèl, moteur ? Which model ,engine ?After one week and one day of driving on the same gas tank, my average is 11.0 liters per 100 kilometers, mixed of 50/50 between highway and country road. I did close to 500km on the first gas tank straight out from the dealership. So far, I get similar performance as my old Grand Cherokee 3.0 liters v6, diesel...
