I see two of those original Insights in my neighborhood on a regular basis. Still cool looking vehicles all these years later.
The first ever one I saw was while I was on a m/cycle trip in Arizona in 2000. Driver had it loaded inside with his camping gear, on a trip across the USA.

The first-generation Insight is a super cool car. Definitely on the wish list!
