Us old timers, remember the days when a car came with 5 matching wheels/tires, and did 5 wheel rotations...
My last three FCA products all came with 5 matching wheels and tires.

2015 Cherokee Trailhawk
2015 Renegade Trailhawk
2018 Wrangler Willys

The Cherokee and Renegade would have had matching tires from the factory, but the spare wheel on those is a steelie, not a matching alloy rim.

Mine has a steelie too, I think only TH, ADII and Tow packages had the matching tires. Wonder if they just pulled what wheels they had, so some got the alloy spare and some got the steelie, if they had 'em...

Nope, I have a steelie too, but now with a matching 245/70 Toyo mounted on it...😎

I meant that the Bronco Sport Badlands uses wildpeaks, while the spare is a full size, its a Pirelli.... I mean sure its a full size street tire, but for the off road model?

Wow, looks like GM jumped into the game now. Just saw an ad on this very page, brand new 2021 GMC Acadia AT4. Looks like the most offroad capable GM SUV since oh, the K5 Blazer maybe, except for the approach angle. Looks a little Trailhawkish, in a GM kind a way. Hmmm? Shall we dive into that rabbit hole next??? LOL!!!😎

The rabbit warren attacks!
I had a 2000 Blazer Trailblazer edition, body on frame, rwd-4X4, very capable and reliable.
I still find myself comparing my 2009 Explorer and the KL Cherokee to it.
So successful, they kept making it for 5 years alongside its Trailblazer replacement.

Well, the first real Bronco, serial number 1 is currently being delivered to her new home!!! It only cost $1.075 million, which was actually a bargain, since it was a 100% donation. I would have jumped all over that if I had a spare $1.1M to donate!!! 100% write off, a badass new Bronco, and collectors dream car to boot...😎

I still want to see how it performs with real drivers that say, "I think I can make that"...... Thats what I did with my KL to determine its limits lol. Reminds me of the ole bent frames on the truck trailers on the new Gladiators and ZR2 Bisons from pulling a trailing while off roading lol.

I thought the bent frames while offroading a trailer ended up being user error
Well yes it was, but they also didn't realize the limits of the vehicles either lol. This should show true with the new Broncos too which will be interesting lol.

It won’t be surprising, but I thought this article was interesting...

That's really interesting, because I know Ford has sent probably at least 20 truck loads of both models out here to crash the Moab Jeep Safari this year. They have everything from a big hospitality area cooking free food, to test drives on the Slickrock!!! Pretty smart marketing move I'd say!!! They are everywhere out here...😎

Hey, I love my Cherokee, but I'm married to my wife, not to Jeep. If this new Bronco really rocks I will certainly give it a strong look when I'm thinking about getting a new car.

I would really like to stick with Cherokee, but the Cherokee I would buy next isn't being made (yet?). I would love one with just a bit more off-road possibilities: better approach and departure angles, ability to use 35s easily, more clearance, etc. If Ford builds that vehicle in a reliable and attractive package, why shouldn't I consider it?

I love the Wrangler Rubicons, and I had a 2005. But I spend 90% or more of my time with the vehicle on-road. IFS might well be a better choice for me. I'm tall and large, and when I sit in the Wrangler, it's just not particularly comfortable for me in the driving position. The Cherokee fits me great, but doesn't nail everything I'd like to do off-road.

I hope in a year or so, Jeep will have an option for me, but if not, .............

Well the real Bronco has a proper 4Low. I took advantage of Fords Bronco Jeep Jamboree party crash, and tested one out on Fins and Things. It's definitely as impressive as I already knew it was going to be. I don't know that I'd trade the Trailhawk tomorrow for one, since I like my leather, and creature comfort level of the Trailhawk that as of yet, the Bronco doesn't offer, not even close. Didn't get to see how it handled at highway speeds, but I would guess, it's probably similar to a JL. My take would have to be, very capable offroad, YES!!! Overall cabin layout and creature comforts, needs improvement. Weird seating position, way worse than a JL. Extremely wider than it appears, and side and rear visibility is not great. Final opinion, I don't think it's going pull as many JL owners away as they think. Both are WAY OVERPRICED, but I think Jeep is still the better buy for the money. Ford will have to step up the cabin comfort at the least to steal away the diehard JL, and JLU owners. Offroad capabilities are pretty even I think, but the Fords aftermarket game has a long way to catch up to Jeep. I think the one I drove had the bigger 2.7 Eco turbo, and it has plenty of power offroad anyway. Final verdict,
Impressive offroad, very capable.
Crappy interior for $60,000+ vehicle.
Very wide, limited visibility compared to the JL.
Will they sell a ton of them? Yes, they already have, sight unseen!!!
Will JL owners be racing to trade for one? Maybe a few lower trimmed Mall Crawler owners.
We'll see what happens...😎
