I'm in Reno. I've seen plenty of Cherokee KL's running around Reno/Sparks & Carson City. I guess most of them must not be members. Have you been off road anywhere here yet with yours?

Closest I've been with current TH was in the Sweetwater Range N of Bridgeport CA.

Looks like fun; probably too late for this winter, though. I'll have to put that on my to-do list. Including a stop at Schott's in Bishop of course!

We're looking forward to a trip to Death Valley in February. I'm hoping DH will install rock rails by then. I'm sure we'll spend at least a couple days in Las Vegas, too. Any trails near Vegas we shouldn't miss?

For February, the trails are more limited by snow. I had a summary on another post, will try to find that -- a fellow who lives in Henderson asked. Most of my 4x4 is as a means to an end -- to get to hikes/climbs. The rocky Gap Road behind Red Rock is something of a classic.

Not from NV but there are some backroads in the new Gold Butte National Monument area north of Las Vegas.
