Anyone ever tried setting their alarm off?

Not in all places in the vehicle. If a key is placed in the passenger seat or the back seat the jeep will not detect the fob and allow the doors to be locked from the outside. My collision center did this just Tuesday. I had to pay for a uconnect subscription to remotely unlock the doors cause I wasn't driving all the way back to the collision center in my horrible rental.
Interesting.... change for 16? because I know it is happy with the fob in our passenger seat. There are times I drive and my wife is the only one with the key on her (either in the passenger seat, or in the back with her coat/bag).

I hear you on the U-connect. My wife is spoiled by the app remote start. She can do it from her office prior to starting her walk out. That is something we will be keeping even though we didn't plan to.
