I'm in the area but I'm 5+ weeks out from delivery. Nobody had the options I was looking for so I just ordered mine on 11/16. Here's to hoping they have a fire lit under them by now and it's the 5 weeks! haha

Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ), (WJ), (WK), and (WK2) (Model years 1993–present)
Jeep Cherokee (KJ) (Model years 2002–07), also known as the Jeep Liberty in North America

Easy offroad trail...look into Cleghorn and take the fire roads to get comfortable.

If you want fun, theres a mixture of everything at Azusa OHV. that was my first experience... I consider Azusa OHV proving grounds for anyone wanting to learn how to offroad.

I hit a "road" into Holy Jim Canyon last week in Orange County. Hardly challenging but a perfect start that is pretty screw up hard to screw up as long as you're using some common sense. I WILL certainly check out some youtube for entry exit inclines tutorials.

I'm heading out there tomorrow. I just got an adventure pass from big 5. I'm planning to go hiking with my dogs.
I'll be out there tomorrow too before noon, but I'm bringing a newborn and the wife so nothing challenging planned. Just gonna test out some of the TH features… Hopefully we can get a SoCal Cherokee run going sometime

Most definitely! I just got back from the trail and it was quite enjoyable. We hiked to the falls and hit up some side trails on the way home.

I'm in Burbank. Mulholland Drive is un paved between the 405 and Topanga Canyon. I tried to take it home from the Topanga side but about a mile in there was a gate across, so I turned around and went home on the 101. I still haven't seen any other KLs on the street here. I saw one in New York in December.

I have some nice trails here in Lake Elsinore to off road. You would get to use all the ranges for the fwd including rock.

Hi Guys/Gals - Soon to be trailhawk owner. I am going to drive one this weekend and most likely pull a trigger since the Dealership has one with all the options I needed. Dealership is 70 miles south of me, so hopefully everything works out.

I am getting worried with all these transmission issues. Any of you So Cal folks has any problems so far with the hawks? Would love to join you guys soon, I reside in Santa Monica.

My tranny started off shifting a little rough, but with over 1600 miles now and the the TSBs, it has smoothed out a lot.
