Has anyone found a cargo mat yet for the cherokee? Looking for one that'll protect the cargo area either with seats up or down (not picky on this one).

Still waiting for any and all accessories to be available... seems odd to not have these ready at launch specially since launch was delayed.

I wrote to WeatherTech requesting products for the 2014 Cherokee. Used to have their products installed in previous cars but nothing for the Cherokee yet. So far, mopar.com only shows the cargo net, although I was able to get the wheel locks in amazon.com ( they are different form the ones I had bought before at auto parts)

I think you want it to contain wet and dirt the dogs bring in like I do? I use a thrift store comforter. I have some in nice bright and co-ordinating colours. The thick batting keeps wet and dirt from going through and every now and then I haul them out and wash them. I don't think I ever paid any more than $5 for any one of them.

I am definitely interested in one as I had one for the cargo area for My 2002 Liberty. I cannot see Mopar not having one in due course, which should be available through most dealerships.

I like the way you think.

Yea,we have done the comforters. But I'd like something to protect the carpet. Especially since they are tan/red and the carpet is black. :)

yes! Left to right-- Daiquiri is Shiba/Jack Russell Mix. Kahlua is pure shiba (has the attitude as well) and then the foster Shiba Oshi, which was just placed in her forever home last week! :)

LOL. You and I could both get stopped for having open liquor in our car. Oban is a single malt scotch though he's named for the town, not the booze.

My friend had a Shiba, not for the faint of heart. Very pretty dogs, sort of mini Akitas in appearance and temperament I think. No, same size temperament. :) Yay for finding a forever home.

I wrote to Weathertech also, about a month ago while I was waiting for my Trailhawk to be delivered. Definitely need to get something back there for protection.

Has anyone seen this cargo storage yet in the spare tire area?

Is my assumption correct this this is only available in the Sport and Latitute?

My Trailhawk did not come with this. And, I don't think it would fit with the full size spare tire.

This photo is from Jeep.com:

Not true. I have a Cherokee Limited, Active Drive II, with off road suspension, and compact spare tire. I do have the storage "thing um a bob" in the cargo area under the floor. The cargo area is 3 layered: 1.) floor 2.) storage 3.) spare tire

ummmm...wonder if I can get a compact spare tire for my Trailhawk and then get the storage unit...

I can't find it on Mopar's website. The storage area that is.

Strange, the Limited I looked at had a cover and a spare underneath, nothing in between

Maybe it has to do with the Active Drive II which comes with the off road suspension. It could be the off road suspension allows for more more clearance thus allowing the trunk to be deeper. Not sure about this, just a wild guess.
