6 cyl-what type of gas?

Hello everyone,

Two weeks ago I ordered a Cherokee limited with 6 cyl engine. I see the owners manual recommends 87 to 89 octane with preference for 89. For those of you who have the 6 cyl engine what are you using?

will use 89. only about 5 bucks a month more than 87.

non ethanol will give better mileage but its illegal here. other than winter id love to use it. only benefit of e10 is no gas freezing in cold weather

true but v6 is designed to run and 89 and can use 87 with lower efficiency.
