Was browsing the Jeep website and realized that you can no longer order a tow package on the majority of the models, my 2021 Jeep Cherokee 80th anniversary came equipped from the factory with it, its even on the window sticker. Wondering why they changed?

According to the Jeep website, the Trailer-Tow Group is available on several trims, including the Limited, High Altitude, and Latitude Lux in addition to the Trailhawk. You just have to make sure that the 4x4 option is selected, since the package doesn't come with FWD.

Interestingly, it appears that the 2.0T engine is not currently available on the Trailhawk. But don't worry -- you can still get the black-painted 17" wheels for $800 more than the gray-painted 17" wheels of the exact same design. :) It costs only $700 to upgrade from 18" to 19" wheels on the Limited, and that comes with a tire size increase as well!

Well, son of a gun (again)! I stand corrected!

Not only that, but it's always been that way, at least for Latitude LUX, Limited, and Trailhawk. From the 2021 Feature Availability released in late 2020:

Consistent on USA Jeep.com site if you select the Compare tab, then Edit each model to select 4x4 (the step I didn't do the first time). No changes from 2021 plan - including not having the 2.0L as option in Trailhawk (been that way all 2021 model year).

However, it is true that the 80th Anniversary 4x4 version now says "Trailer-Tow Group Not Available". So maybe a little impact from shortages?

Yeh, probably from shortage. Glad I was able to get mine with the factory tow package!
