Guy is a complete idiot, likely never even drove it and made a "review" off of reading the specs, isn't worth the space its given on the internet.

Why is the price difference between the Compass and the RAV4 so great in New Zealand? Shipping costs? Tariffs? NZ$10k = ~ US$6.6k. Here in the United States, the base price of a Compass Trailhawk is $29,445. The RAV4 doesn't come in the GXL trim here, but I think that's equivalent to the XLE trim, which is the second-cheapest. The base price of a RAV4 XLE with AWD is $28,850. The base-price difference of $595 is less than than one-tenth the price difference in New Zealand!
