Hi, just joined the jeep family with a 2019 latitude awd with stock 17 inch wheels. Can I put 18’s on without any bolt pattern modifications? If not, what is the biggest tire size I can go with a rough country 2inch lift/leveling kit. I’m looking at 255/65/17 tires to be specific. Thanks

Hi there and welcome :)
I'll let others with lifts confirm whether or not you can use that size on a lifted Latitude. Just my guess : they should fit.

About the wheel size : sure, you could go 18'', even 19'' without a problem, as long as you get wheels with the KL's bolt pattern and offset (they exist no worries). But a bigger size wheel means less tire choices, especially if you go A/T. And 17'' tires are usually cheaper than 18 or 19'' (with the same outside diameter).

With the 2" lift, you would need 17" wheels with at least a +31 offset (Trailhawk wheels) to fit 255/65/17's, and that's not going to guarantee you won't have to do some cutting, trimming, or grinding in the wheel wells. I run 245/70/17's on my lifted Trailhawk. No cutting or grinding required...😎

During supply chain problems my dealer had few 17 inch tires but plenty of 18 inch which is great because I am getting 18 inch wheels and tires. The 17’s on a Cherokee in mountain and foothills driving are not good. It’s a car tire on a truck body. Poor control. I don’t get any snow so for my 1st time getting new tires, I am getting 18 inch wheels and tires and they have plenty in stock. I’m getting Michelin for a smooth ride. I saw the tires on a new Grand Wagoneer and the dealer side yes I can put those on my Cherokee Latitude. I’m going for it!!

All 17” tires are not car tires, and the Cherokee is not a truck body, it is a unibody, a truck has a full frame with body bolted to it.
If you want a vehicle for excellent handling then you want a sports car not a Cherokee.
