I'm very sorry to hear this. Have you had a case open for this concern? If not, I would be happy to help! Please send us a private message.I have a ‘19 Cherokee Limited and CarPlay just stopped working. The usb works as I can play music via USB but it doesn’t recognize my phone anymore for Apple CarPlay. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Can’t believe it was that easy. Going 2 months crazy it wasn’t working and this did the trick. Thank you!!!After many headaches I figured it out. You need to go under “Projection Manager” and ensure that “smartphone device mirroring” is enabled and the usb iPhone that’s connected has “enable apply CarPlay” enabled.
something happened in unconnect that disabled all the previously connected devices. you would think this would be under General settings
It always does, like 98.7% of the time when there's anything electrical going wonky...😎Can’t believe it was that easy. Going 2 months crazy it wasn’t working and this did the trick. Thank you!!!

I'm shopping for a 2019 w/ CarPlay. in my current 2014 Cherokee I have an aftermarket radio that lets me interact w/ the screen while driving. such as when I use the WAZE app. for example, if I see a hazard, I can touch the screen & mark one, or report a cop, etc. I know I shud test this functionality, the next time I try one out, but thought I'd ask, if the 2019 OEM head units allow this interaction while driving
