2018 trailhawk rugged ridge bull bar

Hi, anyone install one of these on the hawk? Websites are saying jeep grand cherokee, I found one in Canada that says the model im looking at will fit. I ordered it, but now that I look on the rugged ridge site, it only lists Grand jeep cherokee. I did find others on Carid etc but shipping is higher than the actual cost of the bull bar. Just wondering if there is going to be lots of mods to get this on and checking if anyone else installed this brand. Thanks.

What are your expectations for a bull bar? Maybe there is another solution.
Just looking for a bull bar no winch needed. Light bar(for round lights)
Couldnt do a bull bar, turns out the ones I looked at don't make one for the trail hawk. The others are double in price due to the shipping but found a light bar plate that bolts to the hood. Looking forward to it. Got some real nice 9" AUX led pods waiting to be installed. 😂

Check out Mohawk Offroad Fab. They have quality lighting brackets both hood mount, and license plate mount....😎

Thx, i ordered a plate from them. It's gonna look sweet once I get these rims and these lights on for sure! Sounds like they make em as we order, so could be awhile. Guess I could have drawn something up and taken to the local sheet metal/alum shop and had something made up, but oh well. 🤷🏻‍♂️😊

Good luck getting your product, I ordered from Mohawk a year ago next month and not only does the owner not reply to emails timely (every 2-4 months after I send my normal "any ship updates?") I get the most BS excuses. Close your shop if you can't complete your orders in, I dont know, less than a year??

Crap really? Well i may see if I can cancel it and get a local shop to bend me a piece of aluminum and I'll use a jig saw and make my own plate.
Yeah, I have been a member of JK forums and other forums for years, lurked here since I we traded in a liberty for the 2014 Cherokee, great info here on the site, but never felt the need to post, but after my experience, wanted to warn others. I have email chains and order dates since this all started, it is a mess, I since went a different direction. I think if I ever do receive what I ordered almost a year ago, I will let send it to someone in the forums for cost of shipping and a donation to charity:cool:.

I ordered from them March of 2020. Still nothing but the run around from that guy.

Holy crap, well I've ordered an aluminum plate, gonna try modify it myself. Hope this guy refunds my order.
I still haven't gotten a refund yet and just get the run around every time I message him. He just keeps making excuses why I haven't received my order.
I just went ahead and manufactured my own plate. Mounted the lights and looks pretty good i'd say. 😂 Now to try and get a refund.

Same. Waiting on the front grill bracket for a light bar. Pretty simple piece I think, just cut and bent flat stock, and in August it will be a year....

I just received my bracket, I ordered it in Sept. of 2021, in November I changed the order as I got a different Trailhawk, that had adaptive cruise and needed a smaller one. I always received a reply within a day maybe two.

Is it tough to get the hood open?

Here is my latest email Chain: From Mohawk in response to my 4th inquiring, 5 months since the last response:

I am processing orders on a daily basis. Doing everything I can to get orders out still running a bit behind I've had some recent equipment issues but are now resolved.

I am a one-man privately owned shop. Orders are made as they are received, per order, I keep no inventory.

As stated on my website at checkout during purchase:
I normally allow 15 - 30 business days for order processing as stated on my website/ listing, but due to some equipment complications, steel availability, increased prices, an unusually large amount of orders, increased shipping costs, and mandatory forced over time at my full-time factory job, I am running behind schedule.

I always ship using USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail with Tracking and Insurance.
When I ship I will send you your tracking number via email.

I will get your order out to you as soon as possible please bear with me. I always fill my orders.
I apologize for any delay.

5 months with no contact, I’m weeks away from going a full 12 months with no product.

My response to the above email from this morning:

I did see this on your site when I ordered, 15-30 days processing currently…this should more accurately reflect your external, out of your control delays to read more like 250-365 processing days. Sounds more absurd when you say it out loud, as it reflects real world delivery times currently being endured by your customers. Counterpoint I guess is that no one would be ordering from you if there was truth in advertising.

I received a few emails that looked very similar. I was persistent in emailing regularly to ask about my order. I know it was frustrating for me.
Depending on your credit card company, I think so of them will cancel a transaction if you explain that you never received the product.
The product is very nice looking, and I am glad I finally did get it.
I might see if anyone on here wants it, I went with a Frogfab winch bumper with hoop...only silver lining is the year long delay helped me decided to pull the trigger on running a winch setup. Why should my JK have all the fun
