I seem to recall someone replacing just the bushings. I don't recall what bushings were used, since Mopar doesn't have any part number for the bushings alone, just the entire assembly. Could have been @Snowhawk2015 possibly, but not sure. Maybe he can chime in, since he does have a lot of experience with rebuilding the suspension and steering components...😎Hello everyone, I'm looking to complete this repair and need some advice. Reading though this thread and researching online I'm getting different results for what part number to use. Does anyone have a definitive answer for which ones to use? I wheel pretty regularly and haven't be able to get out due to this issues, any help would be great as I don't have $1000 to replace the knuckle let alone 2 of them. Thanks!!
See what these guys give you. I think they're just local to Utah, but you can get quote in like 30 seconds on line for fun...😎dealer tonite offered me $4k hoping I can do better
Take the money your going to spend on fixing the old one, and put it towards the down payment on the new one!!! LOL...😉😎made some calls around on Friday looking for an auto suspension specialist. want to give this car any chance I can to keep it. meaning no self doubt upon deciding to sell/trade
got an appointment for another opinion tomorrow morning. no expectations, just gonna get another opinion w/ the car on the lift
Well, we know it can be done, as people have done it, but I guess these "new age" mechanics and technicians just lack the proper skills and ability to fabricate, and or improvise, or they're just pure damn lazy "parts changers"...🤔😎the bushing is not a replacement part
Cause dealerships are a complete rip off, even when parts are listed at a 3rd of the cost online from developer they still need to make money. Therefore you're hit with mark up, my dealership is charging me $1200 EACH for them. I showed them this add and all they said was buy it from them as they will not price match nor will they discount the parts.
I'd have to agree with her, I mean only a crazy person goes cycling 🚲 in the snow, in sub freezing weather...LOL!!!😉😎Wifey thinks I'm nutz & she might be right
Well, on a brighter note, looks like you guys are going to be pretty close to 60° today, and that will be nice. Much better cycling weather...I'd take 45° around here and be tickled pink...😉😎well she hasn't divorced me yet! close maybe, but still in the same bed. if I do get the boot, there are other fish on the ice
