2015 Latitude 4wd, 3.2, 120K miles. Brake job at 118K using Chrysler OEM rotors & pads.

Developed a noise when braking, coming to a stop. Or stopped then letting off/on/off the brake. Doesn't do it first 5-10 city miles. It has to be warmed up to get the noise.

Only when articulating the suspension. I get a squeak/groan. Similar to that of hot brakes at a red light where you let the vehicle creep off the brakes and it makes that groan or chatter but I believe its suspension. I can bounce the suspension when parked...static and I don't hear it.

I did the brake job 2K ago. I did inspect things at tire rotation 1K after the brake job and it all looked ok. This noise is a recent development.

I’m fairly confident it’s not the brakes. Side Note: I have had to brake very heavy a few times within the last 2K miles as I drive a new way to work which is filthy with deer.

Struts? Anti-roll bar bushings? Don’t know…haven’t crawled under it to give it a good inspection yet…currently tooo cold.

Does anyone else experience this noise? Have you determined the source?

There are probably a few things that could be producing such a noise. I had a weird and similar noise shortly after a front brake job. I took it back to the dealership and they suspected caliper pins, but that wasn't it. They wanted to replace calipers, I said no way, drove it for a while and it went away. I had cheapo brakes installed though, and my problem was likely the pads rattling, even though all the anti-rattle hardware was there.

Worn lower control arm bushings can produce strange noises when coming to a stop. I've had one replaced up front, but I also had clunks associated with it.
