My Jeep died on me about a week ago. The negative terminal was full of corrosion. I cleaned it the best I could and had it jumped. A few days later it died again so I had it jumped again. After this jump my car kinda freaked out and I had no power steering and warning lights were flashing. I got home and turned the car off. I turned it back on and I received a Service Park Brake along with an engine light and blinking odometer. I tried to put the car in drive and it got stuck in neutral. During the shift I felt the car jerk. After about 5 mins I was able to get the car back into park but again it jumped while shifting. I bought a new battery hoping it would help but still having the same issues. I did remove the negative cable to test the alternator and the car died right away but idk if this car is like my older cars and that’s still a thing. Any thoughts?
