2014-2018 tell the difference?

I do know that on the non THs the shape of the exhaust tips was changed, but I'm not sure which model years and how many times this happened. I have never seen one with the back up lights having all red lenses. I'm not sure if the TH hood decal ever changed its' shape, but on earlier models it was optional and then became standard on later models.

Can you elaborate what your issue with the review is? I read it along with others and watched quite a few reviews online of the Cherokee, and the negative points (poor gas millage for the 4X$ system especially Active Drive II, and for the 3.2 V6 compared to the Turbo 4's in the competition came up in most of them, something that was not a big deal to me, as I wanted something with some off road chops and I did not go looking for a v6 4x4 because I was looking for the best MPG, if I was looking at MPG I would have gotten a 2.4 Active Drive I. But it also seems to get very happy reviews in many of the things that the other reviews that I have read got. I mean really if you are looking for a MPG warrior Family hauler you would get the 2.4. However they also said in spite of the lower MPG they would go with the 3.2. And with this sort of testing it also depends on what they can get from the manufactures, and I think the MPG points would have been different if they had been given a Active Drive I 2.4 as compared to an Active Drive II 3.2 Overland model (which also as said happens to be the heaviest SUV in their comparison)

I will say that the rated MPG is close to what I get although I average 28 MPG Highway so 2 MPG of EPA and 3 MPG over Car and driver in my pretty well equipped limited. I averaged 28 mpg doing 95% highway through two mountain passes on a 542 mile round tip over US highway 2, through parts of Eastern Washington, then Back over WA Rout 20.
You did not understand my tongue-in-cheek reply. I did not read the review. I was just stating the fact that they tested something other than a BMW. Car and Driver used to have good writers with good articles. Now it has become an advertising agency for BMW. I used to want a BMW, but they have lost their way: what the **** is an X6? An "Ultimate Driving Machine"? I canceled my subscription because I got tired of seeing another BMW analized by some young yuppie that was enamored by a BMW. They are made in South Carolina: no better than a Hyundai coming out of Alabama. I would flip through the pages and toss it in the recycle bin. Car and Driver started its decline when David E Davis left to start Automobile Magazine. He is sadly missed. :nerd:

Some vehicles, especially GM come to mind, have the exhaust tips not connected to the actual exhaust pipe. The tips are too big, and you can see the actual exhaust pipe inside of the asthetic only tip, not hooked to it, and it looks stupid IMHO. My TH has real, round tips, which is the way it should be. My '68 Barracuda Formula S had real square tips!

I didn't know this was available at all. Now I'm going to have to investigate a retrofit!
It was available in the Limited, under "Available", so it is a stand alone option, but not available in the TH, according to the Sales Brochure. As you say, Odd! Possibly, this could be retrofitted, which would be cool for me. I just traded my iPhone 7 for an 8, which has the glass back, and therefore is set up for wireless charging. I do have it in a RealTree OtterBox, so I have no idea if wireless charging would work with my set up. :nerd:
