2014-2018 tell the difference?

The 2018's also have HID headlights....

Yep and in the paragraph below they mention that only the Sport didn't have them standard in 2017. One ting though : car magazines can and do get some of those options wrong, especially when they release those articles ahead of a model's official arrival at dealerships. They sometime do pre-production reviews and go with manufacturer early press releases, which are not always 100% representative of official production offerings.

I do believe all 2018s have HIDs, from other sources I've seen (but can't bring up right now). 2018 KL owners can certainly close this debate quickly, if halogens were in fact slapped on one trim or two...

Yup, they did away with the Sport in 2018.

The Latitude is now the base trim.

I have not seen a 2018 with halogens headlights.

I checked my build sheet and there is nothing stating that I have HIDs on my TH Plus L. The owners manual does show under bulb replacement that you could have halogen (9005) or HIDs. Other than looking for a blue color is there a way to check for HIDs in the 2018?

HID should be bright white. Headlights HID, Fogs Halogen..

Halogen is on the tan side. (Headlights, not roof)

I would think the Trailhawk would be a higher trim
level than the Lat+??? I know when I assume....
