Hi guys does anybody know if we got an off road pages from u connect in a trailhawk? I can’t find it in my car but Jeep has it on their website as an option in a trailhawk. I have a trailhawk elite and I would imagine that it would come with it. If it somehow doesn’t come with one, can we go the
Dealer and have them flash it into u connect system?

I figured by now Jeep would have their s*** together when it comes to Uconnect. I was told (and read online) that Apple CarPlay would be coming to the 16’s via software update. Then after buying learned they had to plans to do just that. Hopefully you have better luck with your 19 and the off-road pages, that looks like a sick feature

Bummer :(

Looks super cool, and was in the marketing materials for the 2019 Cherokees IIRC...

Yes the footnote states late year and also select model.
So my guess is not all will get it, maybe the Elite model.
So my money is on the line where the cut off is.
Maybe they will write us all a letter for Xmas and give everyone a choice between off-road pages or a free map update.
So yes I’m a Dreamer but not a Believer.

Probably not elite, but you would more than likely need GPS for it to work. I went through a bunch of Wranglers and Gladiators in the lot and only the ones with GPS have off road pages, at least that’s what I’ve seen. Could have missed a few. Pictures below are from the MOAB Wranger, which doesn’t have a locker.

We'll get the ORP next week. But this is this week. Oh, and that was last week. You'll have to wait 'till next week...

"uh, lets see here...
this week was next week last week...
that makes this week last week,
and next week isn't this week,
until next week's last week!"

Just throwing in my experience on this.

Contacted Jeep, Verified I should have installed off-road pages, told me to tell dealer.

Told dealer, Dealer came back after checking car and said my radio was going nuts (also continuously erased favorites) Ordered new radio from factory that should have off-road pages and favorite issue fixed.

We shall see

Ok so I need to back track the statement I made regarding the Uconnect Nav system being required. That was incorrect. I spoke to yet another engineer at work and he mention all Trailhawks no matter the radio have a GPS antenna installed. And that’s all you need to use Off/Road pages. Same technology as a stand alone GPS device. Still no idea when they go public.

I checked myself on my Jeep having the antenna and it does.

Thanks for the update @Lenny706. Somehow get a date out of them! :)

Actually, I just noticed that my 2014 Limited has an Off Road Icon on the Navigation page or menu.
I would guess that it will allow you to map a track on an unmapped road or trail that you go on.
Have to try it and see if it saves those trails/roads.
Kind of interesting.
Might have gotten that with the last map update that was available last summer I believe.

Some or most Cherokees have built in GPS whether used or not.
If you have 911/assist on your mirror you have GPS. That's the only way they know where you are precisely in an emergency.
If you have a Nav. ready Cherokee you have built in.

This may well be a dead horse.

I just pulled the 2020 Owner's Manual, 1st edition. No mention of off-road pages in it either.

Edit: Just pulled the 2020 JL Owner's Manual. Sure enough, plenty of info on Off-Road Pages. For us, it looks like "late availability" might mean it shows up in next incarnation of the Cherokee.

Where's my off road pages @JeepCares? You have about 17 hours to send it to our 19'+ Trailhawks.... Just saying - Jeep failed its customers & enthusiasts. It did not produce a fun feature it said it would as part of the agreement when I purchased the vehicle. (n)
