This is where it all started. This is the definition of cool. This is not to get confused with tome Cherokee Chief model. This is the Super Chief the difference is that this one is the "narrow track" and not the wide track. Its rough around the edges but darn it, it is cool. This was used on a West Texas Ranch for 20+ years and was started up twice a year. Jeep only made this model for 2 years. It has the highly sought after 401 engine with a 4 speed transmission and D44 axels underneath it with the lockout hubs. It has custom steel ranch bumpers on it as well. It is a true statement concerning this Jeep when they say "they just don't make them like they used too".
1977 Jeep Cherokee FSJ (Brown)
AMC 401. Doesn't get more Bad*** then that my friends.
The interior on this beauty is all original from the dash to the tailgate. There is not one rip in the seats but some of the seams are coming undone from age so it would be nice to get them reupholstered. Console you ask? Who needs one. It has a gun rack right in the center. This thing means business and takes riding shotgun as a serious matter!
The exterior is a dark brown and white. Has steel ranch bumpers, a roof rack and has a great straight body with very little rust.
You have an extremely high out put motor under the hood. Why do you need in car entertainment for when that is as entertaining as it gets!
